This movie was based on the Book of Judges.
The previous productions of this Scriptural account were Samson and Delilah (1996) starring Eric Thal as Samson and Elizabeth Hurley as Delilah, and Cecil B. DeMille's Samson and Delilah (1949) starring Victor Mature as Samson, and Hedy Lamarr as Delilah.
Lindsay Wagner who played Zealphonis in this movie also played as The Bionic woman in 1976 through 1978 James Welch and Arkansas April 18, 2025
