The story of Chasing After You is so impactful and the acting really brings it to life. This is a very emotionally satisfying film.

Chasing After You is a modern drama involving romance, relationships, and one's connection to God. The film is an indie, but impresses given its limitations through a heartfelt story and remarkable production value through beautiful drone shots and more. It's clear that the filmmakers put their heart and soul into this movie. Chasing After You feels real and authentic, perhaps more than your standard flick churned out of Hollywood. If you're looking for a quality indie movie with a twist on modern romance, then watch Chasing After You.
Chasing After You was a good dramatic film. Director Paige B. Alston did a great job working with her cast & crew. Lead actress Gabrielle Ruffin delivered a sound performance. This film demonstrated the very essence of not only love; but God's love. The music, editing, and cinematography were all on point.

This was a surprise. Was drawn to this movie by the positive ratings. And it did not disappoint. It is both entertaining and inspirational. It relies on a good story and excellent acting by the leads. It is a perfect movie for these crazy times. While not solely a 'faith based' movie it delivers a faith friendly uplifting message, and you feel the connection with something more than yourself. And that is a great feeling when watching a movie. If you are looking for a horror or action movie, move on, however if you want a compelling and uplifting story, give this a watch.
I give this a strong recommend and really look forward to more from Director Paige Alston.

This is such a good film! I enjoyed it from beginning to end! It contains such a terrific story! I thoroughly enjoyed the characters in this film. I thought they all were very good. Very real, authentic. I was looking for a family film and this one delivered! I enjoyed the faith based message but it wasn't preachy which I appreciated. This film is a solid gem and certainly worth watching!!

I was truly moved by Chasing After You. I am not a religious person but found the story to be thoughtful and engaging while not overly preachy. The lead performance by Gabby Ruffin is genuine and impressive. I was moved and found this sweet, beautiful story to be surprisingly good. It's uplifting. Highly Recommend.

I thought this indie faith-based drama was very authentic in its emotion and story. I also really liked the performances and energy of the actors and the focus in the direction.
Good actors and a special story set this apart from your typical independent film drama. Nice to see filmmakers dealing with positive and uplifting themes such as how certain past experiences can keep you from your relationship with god. It's an interesting take on how people of faith have to reconcile with partners that may not share their beliefs.

Chasing After You is a tale of 2 young adults trying to figure out their path in life through religion. The film heartfelt and warm. It delivers some great aerial shots and a good soundtrack. It's a great romance story that can be enjoyed by all.
The film boldly tackles a fresh premise, a Christian woman seeking to reconcile her relationship with a non-believer with her relationship with God. The film respectfully explores the subject carefully, without clear-cut answers, and the result is an honest, inspiring, thoughtful film. Added to this are some dramatic subplots that contribute to the depth of the film, all tying to the over-arching theme of faith.
Chasing After You is a perfectly beautiful modern-day romance movie. It was real and religious in a wonderful way. So well done!

This was a beautiful film that really moved me. It was beautifully shot and the cinematography was well done. Often faith based films focus so much on the message that they forget about the importance of visuals, story and acting. But Chasing after you covered all aspects very well. I was touched by the story and can highly recommend the film.

This is a beautiful watch. Very rarely do you get such a well observed faith based movie that doesn't impose beliefs but offers them to you. Feel free to take this movie's hand and you'll be rewarded enormously!
While the beginning of the movie appears somehow flat, it becomes increasingly deeper and more meaningful.
PROS
+ There is actually a lot of Christian talk and content, and not just one of the many 'faith-based' movies with maybe five Christian phrases.
+ It generally displays good morals to strive for.
+ No heresies.
+ No blasphemy, just once he took the name of IESOUS with his friend in vain, but not in a negative way.
CONS

CONS
- Improper dress of the main actor which could lead to other Christians to adapt such a provocative style.
- It is not understandable why she did not choose a marriage with the father of their child when he asked her to move in together.
- Her boyfriend is talking at the grave to his dead father, which is surely not a biblical practice.
- The background music is partly problematic.
- The end is very abrupt.

A solid, very serious faith-based drama, that looks at everyday situations folks deal with when trying to construct a life that honors faith and Christian values. It's good to see characters that are making every effort to lead a clean existence.

Elise invites a stranger to her bible study class, and a surprising relationship develops. Each must deal with their spiritual journey, troubled past, and find the room for second chances.
I was surprised by this movie as I'm usually not drawn to faith-based stories or themes. However, because "Chasing After You" comes off as genuine, and the writer/director brings an emotional honesty to this story, I could easily relate and be interested in what was going to happen next. It's a sweet romance story steep in real life and the positive effects of community and church.

A sweet theological film about relationships. Engaging to watch, and with solid performances, I particularly enjoyed the non-sensationalist social realism style that you don't see in a lot of American movies.

I'm not normally into religious films but this one was very well made. The film told a realistic and heartfelt story in an entertaining way. The acting was pretty solid and the cinematography was eye-catching. Glad I took a chance on this movie.
A well done indie with a powerful message. Believable acting and production value was very good as well. Culturally significant and uplifting for the times we are living in. Would recommend!

This beautiful indie explores the conflict within a woman between love and faith when she meets a man who's spiritual journey is different. As she tries to navigate through her oposing feelings her discoveries create a lot of distress.
If you enjoy romantic movies as well as religious films, watch it as it's an awsome combination of the two.

I enjoyed the personal and spiritual pov of this film. The writer and director have an honest voice and created a personal, deep, and thought-provoking film. The performances are subtle, nuanced, and sensitively drawn. The camera work is elegant and simple. This film has a ton of heart and soul. It is refreshing to watch a film that comes from such a pure place. I hope we see more from these filmmakers.

I thoroughly enjoyed Chasing After You. As I was watching it I had a sense of Deja vu as i found myself in a similar situation once. I was friends with a young lady that was deep into the church. At a certain point, I wanted to take our friendship further but she was so deep into the gospel that she rebuffed me every time. I would eventually move to a different state, and we fell out of contact. This movie wAs well put together and executed with the acting and cinematography. Great job!
