This movie is supposed to be set in Helen, Ga, however, it is obviously filmed somewhere else. All of the outdoor scenes look nothing like the small Bavarian Alpine town of Helen, Ga.
Movie was filmed at Heritage Village in Burnaby, British Columbia. The same place Christmas in Evergreen and its sequels were filmed.

At the Hawkey Homes Christmas party the caterers call Kylie to inform her that they are stuck in traffic. She says they are 16 miles away in Alpharetta which is actually about 65 miles from Helen. Kylie says Alpharetta is 60 miles away.
This make believe town of Helen filmed in Canada is much prettier than the real Helen, Ga. Though the Helen, Ga town is nestled in a valley in north Georgia and has Bavarian architecture and waterfalls and hiking and good restaurants, Helen, Ga needs a a freshening up.
