Went into this one completely blind and was pleasantly surprised! The lead actor is fun to follow throughout the story and the movie does not take itself too seriously. The story is consistent enough and I enjoyed the way they handled the paranormal elements.
There are a few elements of a B level movie which can be distracting, but overall it pulls itself together by the end. Looking forward to seeing the two leads in this move move their way up in the acting world.
Overall, a fun and funny horror flick to bring in the spooky season and watch with a partner on a rainy evening. 7/10 and will be watching again.

This is a great effort for a low budget movie. There is a ghost, but it's not scary. The story is easy and enjoyable to follow, and it's just good old fashioned entertainment about ordinary people without special effects or that arthouse pretension.
There is a bit of mystery, a bit of humor, and a bit of romance. Everyone did a very good job making this film.
When I started watching, I did not realize part of it was filmed near where I live. "The Lodge" is the Lodge at Wakulla Springs State Park. Wakulla Springs has been used for other movies, most notably it was where "The Creature from the Black Lagoon" was filmed.
In the lobby at the Lodge, there is a glass case with a preserved alligator, "Old Joe". I noticed that when Eric is at the lobby desk talking to the housekeeping girl Sally, the background is blurry so you don't see it, but he's over on the right side.

I'm the first one to review this? Wow! I have no idea how I stumbled across this on reelgood.com, but I added it to my "to watch" list and decided today was the day to watch it. I went into this with zero expectations, and I've always liked a good haunting movie. This is a great low-budget film, with unknown actors who all did a fantastic job. It's got a campiness that keeps the tone light, and a simple plot drives the movie along. The connection between modern online dating and "ghosting" was super clever and made me laugh. Teaching a ghost how to "text" on a cell phone was a new little plot trick I'd not seen before. I recommend you check this film out! You'll have an enjoyable evening. :)

My husband and I watched this today. The trailer got us when the housekeeper said, that room is haunted lol. The main character is funny, would like to see more of his movies. He definitely keeps you entertained, a character you really root for. The cast was great throughout.
The owner of the hotel was funny and the main character tripped me out with the "executive track" comment on his first day of the job lol. The adorable main character helps the ghost move on by bringing the love she was waiting for. Lighthearted and very enjoyable!! Great comedy/horror flick to snuggle to on a Friday night, Bravo!
