Danna Paola (Lu) told eluniversal.com how she almost lost the opportunity to star on the series, "I was looking through my fan emails when I saw in my spam box 'Netflix Casting' after confirming it was legit we said we would do the audition but then we realized we were three days late". Four days later they called telling her she got the part.
Mexican singer/actress Danna Paola who plays the character Lu, will have her song "Final Feliz" (Happy Ending) featured on the series.
