Influenced by TV Shows such as The Flash and NBC Heroes. It has also been influenced by feature films Kick Ass and The Matrix.
Shot entirely as of release using a mid range consumer DSLR camera, the Canon T3i 600D.
Produced with almost next to nothing budget wise. Friends and family assisted with the production of the web series whilst professional actors were hired later on.
The Director of Classified Freaks wanted to explore the major themes of persecution, freedom, media reporting and cultural assimilation. This was to highlight the real world problems facing society when confronted with hateful bigotry such as racism and Islamophobia.
From Episode 3 on wards, the web series has been filmed in 4K with the Sony A6300, transitioning from the standard 1080p. There is a mixture of 1080p with 4K footage with the 3rd episode being the last to be filmed with the Canon T3i.
