This is what a romcom should be - funny, good paced and romantic. It has a happy ending and well thought closure. Just one or two annoying evil characters to juice up the story. Generally, a good watch.

I might be late in writing my review here but I literally lived this series back in 2017 summer. Even though it had only 17 epis in total, this series was fantastic. I would say such a underrated Rom-Com series. The lead actors especially the male lead Seçkin Özdemir, he was something else. His reactions, the way he acts damn too good. Not only such a gorgeous looking actor, he is also one of a very versatile Turkish actor I've ever seen. Yet again very underrated actor *sigh*. The chemistry between the leads (Asli & Baris= AsBar) were mind-blowing. The only Turkish series which made me wake up at mid-night at 2a.m. to watch it live on YouTube every week. (Coz I live in Malaysia & we are 5 hours ahead of Turkey) I literally cried when it got cancelled due to low ratings😔. (& i still curse the channel for this😂)
My ranting apart, I would say RomCom lovers will definitely love it. Give it a try trust me you'll just fall in love with everything especially Baris Bey aka Seçkin 😍.

This is one of the funniest series I've watched.
The leading actors are amazing, they have great chemistry. Every episode have so many comic situations. Just Amazing.

The story is dragging and rather boring. The leading parts are decent but there is no chemistry, no sparkles. It is like watching a school play. The other stories on the background could have been omitted since they are just filling up the time. Not interesting at all. It is a wonder to me that it got 17 episodes.

One of my favorite so far. There are many romance- comedy TV-shows out there, especially in Turkey, but Atesbocegi is one of the kind.Leading actress, Nilay Deniz managed to introduce totally different atmosphere to TV shows of this kind. Nilay as Asli in this show is in my opinion a unique person, very fun to watch. Her actor skills are great.

It is one of the best series of all time. For the first 10episodes , its rating was amazing and it was in top 3 but after that its rating decreased significantly and thats why it ended with 17 episodes. It had a happy ending and I know there wont be any season 2 as its already ended 2years ago and I am pretty much satisfied with its ending but still i want to see more and i still wish for its 2nd season. I havent cried (happiness tears) for any movie or series ever in my life especially in the last episode.
Nilay and seckin did an amazing job in this series. Their acting was amazing and I could feel the connection between them.Nilay is still underrated as she is an amazing actress. That crying scene she did in the shower was fabulous. I felt it.
If both of them were single during this series then I am pretty sure they would have been a couple in real life but sadly nilay married someone else in between this series was being aired.

A wonderful, light series. Sometimes tears poured down like hail. They didn't drag it out, it's nice to look at the heroes. I recommend it !

Every great love story starts with an argument. How the secrets and lies have an ugly way of revealing themselves even if the person most affected is the most innocent of all torn between family and his love. Fantastic watch!

Excellent! One of my favourites so far. Atesbocegi offers a good balance of romance, angst, humour and drama. The chemistry between Baris (Seckin Ozdemir) and Asli (Nilay Deniz) is great, and the supporting characters also have enough meat in their roles to make the story interesting.
The writing, directing and editing in this series were all good and consistent. The director of the series Baris Yos has some impressive shows to his credit - Kiralik Ask, Vuslat, Adini Feriha Koydum. His experience and range are obvious in the way he has drawn out good performances from everyone in the cast.
Atesbocegi ultimately is a lovely little treat which you can savour easily and remember fondly.
I have rewatched it more times than I care to count. I hope there will be another piece of work for both Seckin and Nilay together in the future.

Loved each and every scene of the show. Asli(Nilay Deniz) and Baris (Seçkin Ozdemir) sharing great chemistry. I couldn't blink my eyes while watching their romance 😍
Every character seemed real. Their dialogues and expressions waere natural. Right dialogue at the right time like normal people have conversations in real life. This show needs much much more love than other overrated series.
Want to see Nilay Deniz and Seçkin Ozdemir together again ❤

Like a firefly, this RomCom surprised and sparkled into my heart.
The lead couple was harmonious and beautiful together. They didn't have the same personalities, but complemented each other very well. Nilay Deniz as Asli was natural, spunky, quick witted, fun and absolutely gorgeous. Seckin Ozdemir as Baris grew on me. I originally thought he was smug and cocky, but quickly found him to be endearing. He even got more handsome with each show! The secondary characters were loads of fun too. My favorite interactions were those of Teo and Barbo. They were worth re-watching just to have a good laugh! The Character Development Award would go to Hakan. What a difference in his character from the first show to the last! And the one that stole the show was Lal Tayra Bahar as Cicek. She was perfect and completely adorable!
Bravo, Atesbocegi! You entertained and shined- like a firefly!
