Suburra the series is one of the best Italian TV show ever released. Really nice photography and story development. The acting is top notch, Alessandro Borghi as Aureliano Adami and Giacomo Ferrara as Spadino nailed it. Screenwriters managed to build a deep and complicated web of relationships that links every single character, and they managed to do this explaining everything in a clear and straightforward way, without useless complications. It is very easy for the audience to bound and in some cases even to root for these characters, even if they are criminals, able to commit very serious and violent actions. This is the strongest point of the whole series, and there is not one single moment where this element scramble.
The soundtrack is very nice, composed and executed by the famous rapper Piotta from Rome, adds even more value to the entire production. Unfortunately these would be difficult to understand from a non Italian speaker, but subtitles can help a little bit.
The series is top notch quality, together with Romanzo Criminale and Gomorra, I highly suggest Suburra to whoever wants to watch a really good scripted crime story. The cast is excellent, the tension is always on point and the plot is entertaining and addictive, it is the perfect series to binge watch: few episodes well linked with each other. As Italian I am very proud of this show and to everyone that worked hard to deliver such amazing content.
