I feel that you need to get ri of the lady with the voice anelizing, because she doesn't know what she's talking about she's not a fortune teller and most of her predictions of voice turns out to be right because the men end up cheating again after the woman forgives them. And I feel that the lie detection works better and you need the man that does the voice analysis on the machine.
I honestly quit watching for one reason. I HATE HATE HATE that fake noise they play over and over and over . The " ooooOOOOOOOOH!!!! Supposedly dramatic noise after every .. single .... revelation. It's overdone and I'm no longer watching because of it. The show was also full of fake pictures of people in front of demonstrations that are really dumb. I like the Cutlers but they need better producers for sure! The sound people need to be fired too. Another example of a good show ruined by bad choices. I'm also not happy that I have to leave such a long review. 600 words? I have college papers shorter than that!
I use to enjoy this show and when they used something reliable like the lie detector to interrogate the subjects it was believable.
The show lost credibility for me when there was a case where the lady thought her husband was cheating with the neighbor. He was questioned by a speech pathologist who "interrogated the taliban" as she kept stating, (as if this was to give her any credibility). She went as far as to state how the man over explained everything, which is typical of a liar, but then thought he was telling the truth because he was able to make everything make sense to her. This is typical of a manipulator btw. So she comes to the conclusion that he wasn't cheating.
They do a follow up, and would you believe it, as soon as he got home he was caught with the neighbor again! At that point I was done with this show. Such foolishness.

This is probably the worst of the reality shows ('Family Chantel' a close second'). I can't believe these two married jurists are a part of such obviously contrived nonsense. The Cutlers must really need the money! All the litigants are actors and bad ones at that. The script is written by amateurs. Even the polygraph folks aren't credible. Judge Judy, you have nothing to worry about.
I'm not going to talk about the show itself and what it's about as others have and we already know. However I would like to suggest that Couples court with the Cutlers, although serious in nature, truly makes for great comic relief! The show seems to keep it kind of real and yet at the same time the way the two judges play off each other is ! Keith Cutler has a great dry sense of humour while his wife is definitely a bit more colourful! But they certainly do work together and you can see the caring and commitment that they have with each other, and how they try to make that happen for others.. They make a lot of sense and they make for a lot of laughs! They actually make for a good pair of role models.
To the people who are concerned that the Cutner's were not true judges but rather attorneys, who cares? They do a great job as judges. So let it be. Enjoy their great work together regardless!
To the person who feels that this has poor aesthetics because Mrs. Cutler's appearance and that the show is " visually odd-looking, not in a critical way, but in a sense of lacking the label, made for TV.'" How is that critique not in any critical? That's ridiculous! And, pray tell, how does Mrs. Cutler not stand up to made-for-tv, but instead have a radio voice? So she happens to be a little bit overweight, Mrs. Cutler does an awesome job on this show and she certainly is not hard on the eyes.. I do believe that you have a problem with the way she looks in comparison to her actions and the way she maintains her Court, then please consider that a personal problem on your behalf, that you should take up within yourself and think about. Take Care One at all. With all due respect. Stay safe
