Winner of the Best Web Series award at the Independent Online Film Festival.
Detective Barren originally was scripted to play a much large part in the series, but actor Gin Fedotov (who portrays Barren) had to leave production shortly after principal photography wrapped for episode 2. Gin returned 8 months later, but by then the scripts had been rewritten, and Barren was written out of the series.
In episode 2, both night scenes were actually shot in the middle of the afternoon.
The flashback scene in episode 1 was originally intended to be a night scene. It was changed to an early morning scene due to production restraints. The scene was shot around 5:00PM, and heavily coloured and edited to look as if it was 5:00AM.
The bar scene was shot entirely within 2 hours, in an actual bar that was still open to the public during production. Everyone in the background of the scene are not extras, they are actual customers in the establishment. The short shoot time proved challenging, as Kathryn Kozody and Chengis Javeri had to perform 8 pages of dialogue with no prior rehearsal time.
