Acid.

Greg News with Gregory Duvivier is a show inspired by the American Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.

Always very critical, Greg always addresses current and relevant issues of Brazilian society, he who is a militant of the left, in general, criticizes the right, in particular, the incumbent President Jair Bolsonaro.

In addition to political issues, the program addresses various social issues, such as inequality, racism, drug liberation, homophobia, machism, among many other topics, which are one per episode.

Certainly the videos are timeless and can be seen at any time, given that the problems are recurrent in the history of Brazil.

Always with double meaning jokes, sarcasm, irony, the arguments are always based on quotes, articles, which makes, you agree or not, a program that is based on sources and articles.

For us Brazilians, I believe that it should be mandatory to watch the program, even if you don't agree with what it says.

Finally

This is a left-leaning political comedy show loosely inspired by John Oliver's Last Week Tonight. With a reputable team of journalists, political scientists, comedians and an array of guests, Gregório Duvivier finally gives Brazil a taste of the efficiency of comedy when confronting the difficult reality Brazil faces.

The comedy is, at points, secondary to the absurdity and/or sadness of the truth as Brazil's future darkens. Still, Duvivier remains tactful and creates daring monologues that stay with you way longer than each episode's duration. While we still don't know how efficient the show would be in "normal circumstances", it has shown its value by providing educational comedy that makes you think about where we're headed.

A game changer in Brazilian television, this is a brave political dramedy with bite that I hope will continue getting renewed by HBO.

Great production and great social study too

A very clean and dynamic pacing for all episodes, this show brings a lot to the table in terms of political issues that we live here in Brazil. I consider it to be essential for all brazillians that ain't living in the Matrix nowadays.

Information+Fun

Greg is able to the conciliate great information content with humorous jokes and anecdotes, making it a great show to stay up to date with Brazilian political scenario (mostly) and to learn etymology (afinal de contas, Greg é formado em letras).

Not sure why hi is called comedian

In my humble opinion, to call someone comedian he/she got have fun. This lacks any. This show is just biased to left wing and anti conservative with no fun at all. This comedian is part of a group that thinks they can do comedy of anything, they already did a show where they compared Jesus to a gay. Often they do jokes with minorities (you think of one, they already did it). Gregorio himself is one of the supporters of Lula, the current president, which rumor has it have created the major corruption scheme known in Brazil and he was only released from the prison because of a a help from the legal system and the major court. Just try the next show, any B movie is better than this.

Not funny at all.

There is dozens of comedians in Brazil that are funnier then Gregorio Duvivier , which also has strange political views, and most of the show is based on biased political views. Skip it.
