Should Have Ended at Season 3
As a long-time viewer, it's painfully clear that You ran out of meaningful story after season 3. What once felt fresh, suspenseful and cleverly twisted has now spiralled into something more akin to a soap opera, complete with unbelievable family connections, increasingly absurd plotlines, and characters that feel more like caricatures.
This final season is a mess of convoluted storytelling and miscasting. It leans too heavily on shock value and forced drama, rather than character development or logical progression. You can almost feel the writers scrambling to find a reason to keep Joe's story going, but in doing so, the show loses all the nuance that once made it compelling.
A once-great series diluted by the need to keep it going, this season is proof that You should have ended with season 3.
