Trivia

Chasing Shadows

Edit
The screenplay was written in 10 days, and the film was shot in 14.
Since the film was still in post-production, the team of 'Chasing Shadows' headed to Cannes Film Festival with just a tease trailer, however on the strength of that teaser alone, they managed to secure world wide distribution.
Due to continues frustration and lack of creative opportunities for BAME artists in the UK, the producers; Aoun Khan and Tharun Mohan decided to privately raise and fund their first feature film.
Surprisingly, the journey from writing the first draft, to securing worldwide distribution, only took 6 months. However, due to lack of funds, the post production took much longer than anticipated.
Due to the shoe string budget and the daily unforeseen complications on set, the production team always started their shoot day, 2 to 3 hours behind schedule, but with the complete dedication of the whole unit, they always managed to finish on time (as intended).
