It sure was a movie.

The acting was okay, the action was adequate, the emotional scenes were alright. Overall the movie wasn't bottom-line terrible, but top-line terrible. It was a movie. However, needed better Kekistani representation.

(P.S. The director could do better, but as always, he doesn't. I looked at his other works, trust me, you could find better five minute movies on YouTube.)

I want my time and money back.

It was a poorly lit, poorly acted, and poorly edited movie. Not to mention the trash adr. This movie is a waste of brain cells, and Dan E. Tibbs is a genuinely awful and sad director.

Don't waste your time

This movie isn't bad enough to find funny it's just boring and a sad rip off of Scott pilgrim. I really hope the director does better in the future but I doubt it, 0/10 would not recommend.

Great Popcorn Flick

Sometimes we want to see huge blockbuster films full of superheroic action and witty banter. For that, pick up a Marvel movie.

Other times we want to wallow in the pitiful nature of our own experience, stare at brown color palettes, and wonder if we left the stove on. For that, a DC flick is a great answer.

For all other situations, we have Scott and Crowley. A film inspired by all elements of "nerd" culture, from Star Wars to Marvel to DC to things I didn't even understand but laughed at.

Two comic book fanatics are friends. One is high-energy and full of hope, the other is business minded and kinda jaded. They get ahold of, and subsequently lose, a priceless comic. There's a weirdo comic book rival (as well as two bumbling sidekicks), a magical guy in a hood (he tries to cast spells. And fails), a comical police officer, a real life superhero, and a ton of other zany characters.

It's not a high budget film. There are no explosions or giant green Hulks. But there is a helluva lot of heart. Witty jokes, a killer soundtrack, and a sense that these people (and the crew) are just having FUN really shine through.

Thanks film-making people. You're rad.
