This was the second project where Vince Colosimo reprised his role as Alphonse Gangitano.
Vince Colosimo (Alphonse Gangitano) had previously appeared in the 2000 film about Chopper Read's life. Colosimo played Neville Bartos, a foe of Chopper (played by Eric Bana) who is shot and injured after refusing Chopper's demands for cash.
This is the third time that Aaron Jeffrey has appeared in an Underbelly instalment. He previously appeared in the special Underbelly Files: The Man Who Got Away (2011) as Geoff Lyand, and in Underbelly: Badness (2012) as Frank "Tink" O'Rourke.
Aaron Jeffrey originally auditioned to play Chopper for the Andrew Dominik film, but lost out to Eric Bana.
