New Smyrna Beach, Florida is home to more shark bites than any other beach on the planet, but despite the high number of bites that occur there, none have ever resulted in a fatality.
While filming lemon sharks off the coast of West Palm Beach for this documentary, executive producer Sadie Logozio, was the only person on the film's crew that had ocean scuba diving experience.
Shark$ actually started as an episode for a web series that Director Justin Prince and executive producer Sadie Logozio put together in their spare time, but they had so much footage on the topic, it was decided to make it a full-fledged documentary.
