Adam and the Ants in Adam and the Ants: Prince Charming (1981)

Trivia

Adam and the Ants: Prince Charming

Edit
The film set was rented off Hammer film studios.
Diana Dors was paid £1000 to appear in this video. She shot her scenes in one day but also attended the dress rehearsal to learn her moves the day before.
Diana Dors was in a bit of a career slump when she was asked personally by Adam Ant if she'd like to be in this video. She was apparently delighted as she knew it would get shown around the world if the song proved a big hit (which it was) and appeal to the younger generation.
Filmed on 1 inch videotape in three days at Elstree studios in London in August 1981.
The record label didn't know that Adam Ant had personally asked Diana Dors to appear in it. When they said they didn't have the budget for her fee Adam Ant said he'd pay it himself but they finally agreed when they realised the exposure they could get by making sure the tabloid press and music press were aware she was in it.
