This movie was directed by Mariano Cohn (well known for co-directing "El ciudadano ilustre", a movie I enjoyed a lot un 2016) and was hilarious, funny, sad, dramatic... plenty of feelings combined. Brandoni delivered a great performance, he is basically the movie, even if he doesn't appear at the screen.
With this movie time goes really fast. Pure entertainment.

This is a film about true friendship, Argentinian style. In my country friendship is some kind of religión we all profess. So we feel touched by the situations in this film. Another good reason to watch it is enjoy the actors' great work. Impressive, even when we know they are among the best actors of Argentina. Great movie! go watch it.
Guillermo Francella and Luis Brandoni deliver a high quality performance and form a memorable duo. Moreover, the film is generally successful even if the scenario is sometimes perfectible, with 2/3 insufficiently credible transitions . But this remains secondary. I loved it!

Those 2 main actors (Brandoni and Francella) have a particular chemistry well-know in Argentina that works well for this movie, but if you are from another country you mind find this movie boring, slow and non-sense, you are aware now. ;)
The movie is not great, they have worked in better films, it is just a tale of 2 big friends, you might forget this movie by tomorrow. Beautiful landscapes at the end.

I really enjoyed this movie, was above expectations. Living as a foreigner in Buenos Aires, Argentina, I quickly recognized the strong Argentinean culture elements in this movie about relationships and how people interact in Argentina. The friendship is one strong element that is shown how it survives with all ups and downs, but also how businesses are dealt here locally is well portrayed.
Besides that, the directing and acting of the key characters is well done, very convincing, and able to time the moments and express themselves in their settings.
The camera work and music are two other pluspoints, well taken and integrated, and able to picture the city as well as the landscapes.
The script is relaxing with some some good and funnny comedy scenes, as well as some exciting scenes to keep the plot moving. The speed the story is told is good, not too boring while still keeping the viewer well maintained of how the plot unravels.
Really enjoyed it.
I gave it a 9 because I watch many movies, and i like this one a lot and I have not yet seen a 10.

Very amusing all the way through. Guillermo Francella was also in The Secret in Their Eyes (the Argentinian version), where he displayed the exact same dead-pan humor playing as Pablo Sandoval. In fact the whole movie seemed to be written for his style of humor (tongue-in-cheek).
After sawing a couple of movies form the same director, I knew I was going to enjoyed this movie. The smart script and performances will transport you deeply into it. It will not only make you laugh and cry, furthermore you will think about the irony that is between the lines. Is not needed to be an Argentinian to understand the sarcasm, the main argument and criticism of the film is inherent in the visual arts world.

This movie's swings towards drama and comedy were both deeply unimpressive. The monologue about Buenos Aires that introduces us to Arturo is completely out of place and sounds like an assignment written by an eight grader for the geography class. The actor's performances were pretty solid, but the characters are just cliches whose deeper motives are completely unknown. Excepting a 2 minute vague monologue from Renzo, you don't get the chance to find out why the characters are the way they are. I'm not even sure if that monologue was an anti-capitalist statement (which would have been cool if it was consistent) or just one more try to make Renzo look like The Edgy Outcast. I feel like if the writers could just make Renzo say "I'M SO COOL AND SMART AND AN ABSOLUTE MADMAN" they would have done it, but they had to find the most similar substitute.

First, a realistic portrait and touching eulogy of friendship. Second - admirable work of Luis Brandoni and Guillermo Francella. Not the last - the healthy humor. Short, just the comedy who you must see. Not only for story/situations/ characters but for the precise lessons about beauty, joy and profound comradery. And, sure, about a too , very honest ONG activist.

You can laugh a lot with this movie, but this is far from being a comedy. It´s more about a relationship between two close friends, a four decade friendship and how the love each other.
One is a great artist who is bitter about all the society and the modern world, the other one is an artist curator and his agent.
Luis Brandoni plays the artist and he steals every scene he´s in it thanks to his voice, eyes and all the experience that such talented actor has grown over many years. Francella is very solid too.
The history starts somewhat like a comedy, but it turns to a drama and then you´ll find an hilarous plot twist.
Some nice photography, adequate music, a good script and great performances makes this a very enjoyable film. I totally recommend it!

Could have been a better film, good acting though. Wanted to surprise with the script, but was very predictable the twists. Overall, not horrible but a lost opportunity - give a 1 though because of gallinas

This is a really great film, very, very well done. Great direction, outstanding acting, a great premise, very well written. It felt as if it was written for adults. I'm so accustomed to a lot of Hollywood junk that feels like it's written for adolescents, this really felt like an adult film, with an adult story. Very convincing, extremely entertaining and excellent from start to finish. The two leads were an absolute pleasure to watch. They worked together as of it was their tenth film together. Kudos to the entire crew.
I highly recommend this film I'm going to be looking for more work that this director has done.

Clever, original, mostly plausible plot; well acted and directed. Amusing (mostly in a low-keyed way, but in a few instances really laugh-out-loud). And the characters are very likeable (imho).
