Missing demon-origins plot continuation & prescence

Instead of seeing a longer-intro with some plot-resolutions including some discovery of any powers / 'inheritances' she might have in addition to her dreams, which for a 1/4 or so is pretty-tame to start with, this movie disappointingly avoids further myth in it's fantasy-realism , re-introduces psychiatry as-WHERE she encouters imterest in her dreams & repeats religious hats-off moments which were already annoying in the 1st movie but i ignored ( for the sake of giving the 1st move production-value efforts some credit in terms of some of the humor as-a-family blended with Alice's progressions as the plot goes on and how the camerawork and scene-setting shift and is quite varied which added something that if it hadn't had, would've made for quite a dull / seen-it-before amateur mini-romp. )

Instead, without more potentially interesting supernatural outside-events, this movie is shallowly-human, betrayingly hypocritical to a small degree in now portraying Rome as something that would add to her resolution "there's fighting to be done soldier" (sic) when it comes to Empire/Industry vs. Rome's enemies, who often used far less dangerous chemical, particularly, sciences / crafts.

In setting aside which-side one would be on in the 1st movie ( especially considering there is no Bodacia reference ) , i chose not to mention it,

but this movie mentions Bodacia historically, avoids the historical source of the conflict (her daughters' being raped by romans) , but then later has her using what would be her father's Roman family? Bloodline? To fight pollution?

Think about it - who was on nature's side during those times, by-large, compared to who used things like slaves /exploitative labour, to mine lead, mercury, etc

Yet there was quite a lot of potentially interesting potential on the mum's side in the 1st movie UNEXPLORED , which i then expected as the series went on, she would discover, and perhaps one day understand of her grand'mother' reasons.

Instead, they're still saying-grace at the dinner table?

When the new father-in-law had humped a demon?

Oh come on ... where's the then counteractative forces of heaven WERE that then something to continue to respect over the dinner table?

Or more relatedly, WHICH heaven, for heavens'-plural ... sakes,.. in terms of perhaps writing that was not throught-out as well as it could've been.

    -------

    Sigh... but no ;

1 a wasted mum, who's 1/2 demon (more potential) and yet behaves like a nothing-more than a alcoholic , and then in the 2nd movie is still nothing-more than a mum, even if she's meant to be off the booze,

2 In all the time that's supposed to've expired since the 1st movie, Alice has not thought twice about Empire/Industry? And what it causes? Give me a break, you've have to be brain-dead. The pathetically simplistic "good fight" reference in the 1st movie was intolerable, but this seemed more like deliberate watering-down of female-empowerment, and also deliberate AVOIDANCE of the history of the cause of Brit.s revolt / war , despite continual references to MALE in-death potentials or familiarities, and avoidance of female, with grandma the demon, just ... what ... left-behind?.. and that's as much about FEMALE-in-death stuff, to have to think about?

No cracked-egg hesitations when making egg on toast ... no split-down-the-middle cringe?

    *honest raised eyebrows*

And yet near the end, she uses a lit-tampon fairly effectively...

    *innocent coy look*

That seemed to have a lot of POTENTIAL, didn't it?

    Tut tut tut.

    What a waste.

Needs to be introduced to other circles to regain/discover her inheritence she-can't-avoid , this one *puts his hand up to volunteer*.

Angel-answers at the catholic school, have turned the brains into mush.

    *head shake*

    This one is pretty bad

The first malice is pretty good, so if U watched it and have high expectations going into this---don't. Just make it a one and done

The first malice was pretty tight in its plot and story, well Mr. Cook with this part the malice just didn't bother with that. He's got specters that interact with the environment just as a regular person does, and then later cannot interact with anything, so we are supposed to say " oh wow, I did not see that"--well if U go back and rewatch it, which no one will, U STILL will not see it.

Mr. Cook's environmental impact antagonist is in fact a reality, but not in such a blatantly stupid manner, Cook just could not be bothered to think out a story line that was believable and would require some effort on his part.

We got our politically correct Lgbt popping out of no where with no lead-up or rhyme and reason for being. Its like Cook decided it had to be in there giving the trends, but could not be bothered to flesh it out

So in essence this is really lazy script writing. A LOT of tv series do this now days, but at least they cover it with lots of gore scenes and graphic sex scenes. With this Cook piece its just lazy script writing w/o anything else.

    Movie for Girls

Movie for girls. Girls who are sort of tomboys. Girls who crave empowerment. Girls who sort of like other girls; even if they also sort of like boys. Girls who suspect there may be a supernatural element to the world. Girls who don't entirely discount religion as fake. Girls who try to understand the difference between right and wrong; and try to make a difference. And movie for boys, who like this kind of girl.
