Typical commercial movie where here has extra ordinary power, unnecessary romance, songs, comedy everything doesn't make any sense. Just it has every sections, without the story. AVOID.

Genius is undoubtedly an extremely underrated movie by the critics. As far we talk about the content ,i find genius has a wholesome entertainment pack, it showcases love for the lady and country,some good actions and obviously the mindblowing songs.

The movie has shown the correct portrayal of a small town boy who is connected to culture and believes in technology and uses it fantastically.

The things he does after leading lady rejects him is way better than being toxic like kabir singh,devdas.

With a excellent storyline and the great setup this movie is a must watch if you want to relive romance or better see "dil ki ladayi ko dimaag se khelna" and you wont feel it as waste of time and will watch many times.

Acting by utkarsh and ishita and all others is fab !!

So if you are searching for a good film, just give it a try.

Nawaz and Mithun sir's acting was average, poor action scenes, script and screenplay is not that good, Utkarsh and Ishita's bad acting, poor editing. Anil Sharma's average direction. No depth in the story.

Old type of direction. Over acting. They will keep reminding you the name of the movie is Genius.

From cheese dialogues to useless action. This movie has everything. A overused formula of how spy agencies use superhumans to do their dirty jobs. Writer and director should learn something from Raazi. Total a waste of time.

You could give this movie your . A little overview. What the movie was lacking was a good storyline. Everything else was good and the lead actor was actually a genius a little bit action made the film look alike Tollywood movie ... If in this the lead actor was only an genius hacker plus spk then it was ok but he was also like an soldier that doesn't make sense.

Movie's screen play is good. First part is full of suspense and real story begin in second part. Songs in the movie is also good.

This the totally waste time and worst movie i see in 2018. just normal thinking about raw and script is totally bad. i thought this is no a good one. Movie trailer is good when i saw this full movie then i thought why i saw this movie. totally waste of time and my bad choice. Hope they will improve the quality .

Why the hell they don't allow negative ratings for such path breaking, flabbergasting cinema. This is the tutorial video for new film makers, who want to make good cinema, as this movie shows all the things in 2 hours, which you should never do in a film.

Nawazuddin siddique can save their film. Not so genius

The movie looks as if it is coming straight from the daydream of a final year college student, with himself as a spy hero. Nevertheless, the movie has a wonderful crafting with excellent cinematography as well as music.

Big disaster from a Big director This is definitely not the movie to launch your own son. You could have done way better than this.

I don't believe that Hindi cinema can take this steps further. Classy, so dramatic , beautiful officiously, intelligent, cultural... Can't express in words.

I like this movie not only coz it break the mindset that if a person follow it's culture than it can't be a genius but also coz song, story and casting. Actor has done good work and he is great in romantic scenes but he can improvise in patriotic scenes.

Director Anil Sharma mounts a huge responsibility on his son's lean shoulders to heroically outsmart everyone else including the film's villain Nawazuddin Siddiqui. For a first timer, Utkarsh delivers on many counts with his boyish charm even as the film's wobbly script falters repeatedly.

In an attempt to make a potboiler, the narrative packs in too many elements, but not all of them land. The campus romance between the young couple is glossy, but soulless. Film's debutante actress Ishita Chauhan has the glam quotient, but shows little expression to convey emotion.

There is a secret mission with dominant patriotic overtones, a slick A-team, caricature bad guys and a bunch of RAW agents who act like anxious school kids when faced with crises. Mithun Chakraborty as the National Security Advisor brings seriousness to his character, albiet a tad too much. Nawazuddin makes a grand entry but his act as a genius gone wrong is a hamfest.

Film's first half has some haunting melodies that are tastefully shot, but it's downhill from second half onward.

Overall, its a film that one must watch drunk and would want to sleep off to!
