The dream scene where Vengeance (John Law) is walking naked in the snow, director John Law shot that scene alone without any other crew present. He was so cold doing the takes that his muscles began to seize up and he almost didn't make it base camp.
In the noose scene the actors got so into the scene that they aggressively put the noose around John Law's neck so tight he couldn't breath and with the sack over his head he nearly lost consciousness and couldn't communicate he was choking. When the other actors finally realized they were in fact choking their fellow actor, they had to take a short break from shooting as they were all shaken up.
Only natural lighting was used in the shooting of the film.
Actress Zelda Adams and Lulu Adams played sisters in the film and are in fact sisters in real life.
