Not wanting to have a directors cameo, Simon McKeon instead cast Patrick Falvey in the "part". The two of them used to work together in a retail store and were constantly mistaken for one another. Patrick can be seen playing the crime scene photographer towards the end of the film. In the credits, he's credited as playing Simon McKeon.
Both Simon McKeon (the director) and Conor Dwane (Gus/writer) despise milk.
Over 200 bottles of milk were used in the production of the film.
While filming the store hold-up scene, a woman arrived and thought it was an actual robbery taking place. However, police were notified prior to filming, so production wasn't shut down.
