For her daughter A-Yi, Jung-Hee goes out of her house for the first time in 15 years and begins work at a restaurant run by Ki-Bok (Lee Chun-Hee). Jung-Hee quits her job before her first day is even halfway complete. She collapses with gastritis and the doctor tells her to eat well. A-Yi decides to take the job at the restaurant where her mother worked.

The story tells a brave woman who fights to recovers her rights and overall discrimination on women in society.
