Summary
Reviewers say 'Upload' is a thought-provoking series blending science fiction, romance, and comedy, exploring digital immortality and human connection. Praised for its futuristic setting, clever humor, and social commentary, the show offers an engaging storyline and immersive world-building. However, some critics point out uneven writing, lackluster twists, and inconsistent character development. Comparisons to 'Black Mirror' and 'The Good Place' yield mixed opinions. Despite flaws, 'Upload' is generally considered an entertaining and unique sci-fi addition.

Very entertaining and easy to binge-watch. If you're looking for something light to watch, this is it.
Pretty Good
I really didn't know what to expect from Upload and never really planned on watching it until I read all the great reviews and thought I'd give it a chance. I'm so glad that I did because it's actually a pretty good show. It's just a fun show that will keep you entertained throughout each episode. It's a very smart, charming series that will make you laugh several times per episode. It's a love story and murder mystery all rolled into one show. It was created by Greg Daniels (The Office, Parks and Recreation, etc) so he knows how to make a great show. I'm glad they've already renewed it for a few more seasons. I absolutely recommend that you give it a chance because you will not be disappointed!
Season 1: 9/10 S2: 6/10 S3: 3/10
I loved this show, it was new light fun, original and wacky at times. I loved the chrmistry between the different actors.
Season 2 went heavier, but was still enjoyable and still had substance. It wasn't on the level of season 1, but was still happy season 3 launched.
Well.. until I started watching, I could live with episode one, even though it could have very well been an entirely different show I was watching.. but in episode two it has gotten so ridiculous, and not in a good way. It's so lame, I'm opting out after this episode. Such a shame, what happened here? How van you ruin such a great concept and go in such a different direction. The humor in season 3 is just awful.

Started good, ended bad
Season 1: 8/10
Season 2: 7/10
Season 3: 5/10
Season 4: 2/10
This TV show started good, it was a cleverly written science-fiction romantic comedy with endearing characters.
But at around season 3, the quality of the writing when downhill fast, and in season 4 all we have is teenage-level humour and a boring plot. They only did a half season for the last one, probably trying to cut their losses. Watch the first 2 seasons then save yourself the trouble.

Seasons are way too short
7 episodes this time? Seriously? I realize this is a 1st World Problem but either make the episodes 45 minutes to an hour long or give us more of them.
Ok, rant over. Now, onto the nice things. I love Upload. There's so much to see here. The mystery. The comedy. The romance. The feuding. The drama. Please give us another season sooner rather than later.
