Kurukshetra (2019)

Trivia

Kurukshetra

Edit
Was set to release on 5 April 2019 but this was delayed by five months due to actor Nikhil Gowda running for a parliament seat in the 2019 Indian general election that same month and promotion of a candidate is forbidden. Ironically, he was beaten in the election by his late co-star Ambarish's widow, Sumalatha.
Aside from its original, Kannada language version, the film was dubbed in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi. The original and Telugu dubbed version were released simultaneously on 1,000 screens on 9 August 2019, becoming the largest ever release for a Kannada film. This was followed a week later by the Tamil dub on 15 August, the Malayalam dub on 18 October (delayed due to heavy floods in Kerala) and the Hindi dub on 20 December.
Shot in over 230 days.
The first Kannada language period film to be in stereoscopic 3D.
Darshan Thoogudeep's 50th film and Rebel Star Ambarish's last film, having passed away nine months prior to release.
