At around 1:46:38 of the movie, during the credits, there is the actual recipe for Linda's face cupcakes.
When the movie was completed, the producers sent crew members statues of Monchi that said "You Guys Are My People".
The one family photo that Rick likes, (the real life photo that "came with the frame"), required the producers to hire 3 different private investigators in New Zealand to track down the models in the stock photo. Ultimately they were unable to get permission for the original photo, so spent 6 days finding a replacement.
Originally titled "The Mitchells vs. the Machines" then changed to "Connected", but once it was purchased by Netflix the title reverted back to "The Mitchells vs. the Machines".
Monchi the Dog was originally going to be voiced by a professional voice actor. Instead, the part went to Doug the Pug, an actual dog.
