Very Enjoyable Sitcom

I find this series very funny. It also has traces of realism. The actor who plays Parimal is awesome. The actress who plays Rupal also does justice to her role.

The stories most of the time is logical and funny. I see many serial with stupid stories but this is not one of them. The set on which this serial is shot is well made and seems have money well spent.

All other characters including Shekar Suman does the justice to their role. The direction is also very good.

They use Hindi with Gujarati accent which makes serial more authentic. I saw earlier review and honestly, I fail to understand the viewpoint.

So and So

I only just watched this in 2022, and found the show so and so, there were some good comedic scenes, but a lot cringey episodes.

I honestly only started watching, and kept watching because of Amit Mistry (RIP) who I watched in other shows, and to me, his character Parimal along with Goldie and Vinati was probably the more better characters. Sadly imo, there were some episodes even Amit couldn't save (Which was usually when he wasn't in the spotlight anyways), some of his episodes I did enjoy a lot more.

Watching Amit from Bandish Bandits and Shor In the City allowed me to see him in a more lighter role that allowed him to act (There were times he may had overacted a little), so if you are a fan of him, yes the show is worth it. (If you aren't, then probably not, me personally if Amit had never been in this show, I would have turned it off by episode 5, most of the stars is really for the three characters I thought were funny,).

I will say, it does have some rather dumb episodes much as another review pointed out (Parimal being engaged before his current wife was dumb, and the episodes with Goldie and those two women felt very cheesy and dumb as well).

As for the other characters. Parimal's wife wasn't really anything to call home about, and the other couple were alright, they had their moments.

Maid aside, the show could have done without the other characters, which includes the daughter of the older couple.

I wouldn't expect anything deep, as someone who grew up in western culture and watched a lot of 90's comedy TV shows, this one reminds me of a cross between a few of those shows.

So if you got nothing much to do, and you like these actors, then watch it! If not, then it depends on your tastes.

Plain stupid and dumb TV series

So one night when I was home alone, I finished all my work and was checking TV shows. It was around 2:30AM that SAB TV was broadcasting this Sat Pheron Ki Hera Pherie show. I started watching as there was nothing interesting available to watch on the TV. Most of the channels were full of those late night TVCs.

Anyway, I started watching the show and my blood started boiling when I saw these third class actors delivering poorly written dialogues. The core idea behind that episode was to debunk those false claims made by spiritual preachers. If some of you have watched that episode, you can remember everyone wearing Red dress and saying "Bolo Hanji Hanji". It was purely dumb and their next moves were completely predictable. Old Shekar Suman who's trying his best to look young triest his best to make you laugh and fails miserably.

His wife who used to be a good actress has only one thing to do - make faces and smile.

That Delhi Belly guy is simply wasting his career in this show as he could do a lot better than this.

That young couple, their appearance can't be justified by any of the two and they fail to make a strong presence in the show.

Recommendation: Don't watch. Director and producer should simply stop making such shows.
