Paathirakalam - A Totally Different Treatment in Malayalam Movies

When the crucial necessities - Earth, Water and Freedom - have been forbidden from common people, how worse they suffer, how they protest, how they fight for survival; this is what Pathirakalam attempts to say about. Jahanara, the central character is a bold girl, who returned from abroad to India after her studies realises that her father is missing. She meets with people from various situations who all have some kind of relationship with her father. During her journey she realises the real social situation in Kerala along with the viewers of the movie. This movie imparts a totally different artistic treatment to its viewers with a perfect blend of marine and woodland scenes with beautiful music and heart-touching poetic script.
