The character Imogen says on the phone "Shall we watch Curse of The Scarecrow tonight" to Aesha. 'Curse of The Scarecrow' was also made by the same producers as 'The Watcher', and not only this, but the character Imogen played by Tiffany-Ellen Robinson also starred in 'Curse of The Scarecrow'.
The movie, re-titled 'The Bad Nun', will be released on September 4th, 2018 to capitalize on 'The Nun', which will be released on September 7th, 2018.
The lead character Aesha watches the film 'Mother Krampus' while eating her pasta home alone. 'Mother Krampus' was also distributed by the same distribution company and made by the same producers as 'The Watcher'.
