Oh God, Spice Girls' Long-Lost Anime Just Surfaced After Years of Rumors
Image
For years, whispers about a mysterious Spice Girls anime floated through niche anime forums and ‘90s pop culture corners, dismissed as either parody or fanfiction. But now, a new revelation has shaken both anime and music history. According to The Anime Business by AnimEigo, the rumors were real, and the art is finally here.

In a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it reference tucked into the pages of an obscure anime release, according to AnimeEigo on YouTube and @IMissBionix on X, the bizarre project is confirmed: a Spice Girls anime created by none other than Production I.G., one of Japan’s most prestigious animation studios. Yes, the same studio behind Ghost in the Shell almost created an anime tribute to Britain’s favorite girl group.

When Spice Girls Almost Went Full Anime The Lost Girl Power Crossover No One Asked For

'Five Nights at Freddy's 2' Sdcc Footage Teases One of the Games' Most Notorious Villains
Image
Although the Five Nights at Freddy's 2 trailer was released earlier today to showcase all the new horrors awaiting in the titular pizzeria, Blumhouse saved one sinister surprise for attendees at the San Diego Comic-Con Hall H panel tonight. In addition to Skeet Ulrich reuniting with his fellow Ghostface Matthew Lilliard in the sequel, there's another new animatronic set to make its debut in theaters this December. A new sneak peek was shared that highlighted the creepy Marionette, a haunting being that gamers will remember hiding in a music box that needed to be kept wound in Scott Cawthon's second installment in the horror video game franchise, lest bad things happen. Collider's Samantha Coley was in attendance to get a look at the frightful puppet and its purpose in the footage.

The new look opens with Mckenna Grace's paranormal investigator and her video crew being guided on a...

Five Nights At Freddy's 2 Trailer Brings In The Scariest Character From The Games
Image
The twisted, supernaturally-possessed Chuck E. Cheese knockoffs from your worst nightmares are back and hungry for more ... and this time, they're bringing some company along for the ride. The first "Five Nights at Freddy's" adaptation in 2023 was an instant hit at the box office, coming as no surprise to anyone paying attention to the unique zeitgeist it tapped into. Based on the uber-popular video games by creator Scott Cawthon, director Emma Tammi's big franchise play was boosted by ravenous Gen-Zers who grew up with that series and helped turn the property into an internet sensation in the first place. Unlike the brightly-lit, meme-friendly, blocky joys of "Minecraft," this particular piece of gaming IP speaks to the "Creepypasta" generation of kids who enjoy a slightly more acerbic style of storytelling.

It was only a matter of time before a sequel arrived, and now we're getting a fresh look at the...

The movie, which releases in theaters and on VOD on June 6, 2025, starts with a tragic incident and then kicks off even further down its dark path when Caleb, the film's protagonist, kidnaps a child. The Direct's Russ Milheim sat down with star Garrett Hedlund to discuss this shocking direction, to which the actor confirmed that Caleb feels "completely justified" in his actions.

The science fiction toy line was manufactured by Mego from 1976 to 1980.

Doomsday Clock Unlocks Justice Society Mystery
Mike Cecchini Sep 26, 2018

Doomsday Clock is finally revealing, piece by piece, why the Justice Society has been absent from the DC Universe.

This article contains Doomsday Clock spoilers.

A key mystery of the DC Universe since Rebirth breathed new life into the entire publishing line in 2016 has been the fate of the Justice Society. The world’s first superhero team were unceremoniously removed from DC continuity in the wake of the events of Flashpoint. Jsa and most related characters, the Alan Scott Green Lantern, the Jay Garrick Flash, and others, were instead shunted off to a new, modern Earth-2 (and series), which was cool enough, but bore little resemblance to their 1940s mystery men roots.

The absence of the Jsa in the New 52 timeline was never explained. Instead, it was generally accepted that the age of superheroes began about 5 years before the events of 2011’s Justice League #1. That compressed timeline...
