Nicholas Tse and Donnie Yen in Raging Fire (2021)

Trivia

Raging Fire

Edit
The film was the final project for Director Benny Chan who passed away from Cancer on August 23rd 2020. Chan was able to complete the shooting of the movie, and despite his illness oversaw the majority of the films post-production before his death. The film is dedicated to Chan's memory.
Both of the films leading men had worked with Chan previously, Yen had worked with Chan early in his career with Benny directing various episodes of both of the highly successful martial arts shows Yen made for ATV during the mid 1990's , Kung Fu Master & Fist of Fury, while Tse had worked with Chan on Gen-X Cops, New Police Story, Invisible Target and Shaolin.
Donnie Yen and Nicholas Tse work together before in Dragon Tiger Gate.
The film features action choreography by Donnie Yen himself, as well as Action Directors Kenji Tanigaki and Dede Ku.
This is the seventh Donnie Yen film in which fellow martial artist Kang Yu has also appeared in, following "Iceman" and "Kung Fu Jungle" (both in 2014), "Ip Man 3" (2015), "Chasing the Dragon" (2017) and then "Big Brother" and "Iceman: The Time Traveller" (both in 2018). This makes Yu one of Yen's most frequent onscreen collaborators. Both of them would collaborate again for the eighth time in "New Kung Fu Cult Master" (2022).
