Call of Duty: Warzone is one of the most popular titles in the world right now if you are talking about battle royale games. This game brings an exciting last-man-standing experience in the avatar of our favorite franchise.

However, just like the recently launched title of the series, this game too is facing heavy backlash due to its maps. Things were getting steady when Raven just released one of its classic maps, but everything went down to the wire as the developers decided to pull it out of the rotation, just to save its most criticized map.

Emilia Clarke’s Game of Thrones aired its final season in 2019 and fans still can’t get over how bad the final season was. Unlike the critical acclaim for its seven seasons, the eighth season let down fans with numerous creative decisions about the character arcs and plot. One of the lead stars believed the ending of the series to be a joke until he realized that it was not.

Night Shyamalan's Trap drops the hardest early 2000s-ass theatrical vibes I've seen in a hot minute. It's a Hitchcock x CW lockbox collaboration, except the box is the size of a Philadelphia arena. There's room for Shyamalan's shiftiness to breathe, misdirect, and overindulge — which isn't always a blessing. Trap is a tale of two halves; one the "killer in a stadium" mouse hunt, the other an "outside" procedural as the pursuit intensifies. The problem is, those halves don't play nice. Conceptual ambition transforms into contrived criminal escape antics, turning giddy chuckles into eye-roll sighs — but its divisiveness will be salvation for some.
Josh Hartnett stars as Cooper Adams, a Pennsylvania serial killer who strolls right into an elaborate capture plot. Cooper — the perfect father when not dismembering victims — treats his darling daughter Riley (Ariel Donoghue) to see her favorite musician: Lady Raven (Saleka Shyamalan). You know a Queen Bee song when you hear it, whether it's from their energetic rock sound or the captivating vocals of the band's lead singer, Avu-chan. Anime fans will recognize Queen Bee from series like Undead Unluck with the opening "01," Oshi no Ko from the ending "Mephisto" and Chainsaw Man from the 11th ending "Violence." This is pretty fitting as Avu-chan is an anime fan, describing Queen Bee as being like "an anime that never ends." "I love anime, and I've been deeply influenced by animation, but I never thought we'd be this deeply involved with anime," Avu-chan said in the latest entry of our Have You Heard? series. You can check out Avu-chan's all-time favorite anime below before delving into our exclusive video interview! When it grinned its way onto the big screen in 2022, Parker Finn’s original horror Smile became an instant hit – making big money at the box office, kicking off a spooky new saga, and connecting to audiences with its super simple premise: you see the smile, and your days are numbered. Now, two years alter, get ready for Smile 2, continuing the legacy of the grim-grinning nightmare, now with a new protagonist in Naomi Scott’s Skye Riley – an international pop star whose major tour is interrupted by the smirking faces she can’t stop seeing. Check out the trailer:
Well, that should leave fans of the first film… well, smiling. Finn seems to be upping the ante here with a slightly bigger, glossier sequel – but by the looks of things, the psychological torture will continue in a major way. And is there something in the water in Hollywood at the moment?...

Call of Duty as a franchise has always been known for its fun and engaging online play. While many fell in love with its war gameplay, others found enjoyment in its zombie mode.
Enter Call of Duty: Zombies, a now canceled live-service project that was conceptualized around 2011-2012. We learned about this after Michael Gummelt, former Lead Designer at Software, revealed the project in a recent interview.
Call of Duty Zombies – What Could’ve Been Early development started on Call of Duty: Zombies after Call of Duty: Black Ops.
It was a standalone zombies experience for the Call of Duty fanbase. A live service game that featured microtransactions for character customization options. It was all only on paper and never made it to development but the concepts alone sound crazy.

TV’s IP fetish is no coincidence. Recognizable titles and stars can guarantee strong initial tune-in off of modest marketing. But long-term results are lackluster. Just look at the past decade’s worth of revivals. Different from reboots or remakes, risky ventures in their own right, a revival features original castmembers of long-departed series revisiting characters for whom there’s an assumed appetite. Viewers aren’t often as hungry as studio brass would like. The average life span of recent revivals is three seasons, while their originals averaged eight-year runs. So as Paramount+ kicks off October by nixing one revived comedy (iCarly, starring Miranda Cosgrove, above) and attempting to mount another (Frasier with Kelsey Grammer, which premiered Oct. 12), The Hollywood Reporter examines 10 case studies from this revivals wave and where they went right … or horribly wrong.

Our friends at Raven Banner have picked up the worldwide rights for the Greek horror-comedy, Minore. It is set to have it's European premiere at FrightFest in London, England, at the end of the month. ... a Greek seaside port is invaded by mysterious tentacled creatures from the ocean floor. It's up to a small gang of misfits made up of musicians, a sailor, a bodybuilder, and one grannie to save the city from this Lovecraftian terror from the deep. We caught Minore when it had its world premiere at Fantaspoa back in the Spring. We liked the use of practical effects and gore, combined with goofy digital effects in the movie's climax. You will find the trailer below the bried announcement. Raven...

"Steroidally swollen with gags and smarts." Raven Banner will be releasing this film later in the year, but until then get a first look at this wacky, mesmerizing B&w indie film called Hundreds of Beavers. Made by animator / editor Mike Cheslik, this has been touring the film festival circuit already throughout 2023 - with stops at Fantasia, Cine Horror, Morbido, Cinequest, Fantaspoa, Atlanta, & others. In this 19th century, supernatural winter epic, a drunken applejack salesman must go from zero to hero and become the greatest fur trapper by defeating hundreds of beavers. "The film captures zany and anarchic energy by featuring a new gag every few seconds. It has many one-offs but similarly builds momentum with slower build-ups and call-backs that keep the experience fresh and surprising. A man-versus-nature narrative about overcoming the cruel and unforgiving landscape of a northeastern winter, Hundreds of Beavers is an uproarious and dynamic theatrical experience.

On Thursday, the former President released his yearly summer playlist — featuring tracks by a diverse set of artists, including Peso Pluma, Kelela, Boygenius, Rauw Alejandro, and even Janelle Monae’s polyamory anthem, “Only Have Eyes 42.“
“Like I do every year, here are some songs I’ve been listening to this summer — a mix of old and new,” he wrote. “Look forward to hearing what I’ve missed.”

Peacock's take on the Twisted Metal franchise looks to have nailed the tone of the beloved Playstation video game series.
The streaming service went public with the official trailer Monday morning, boasting a compelling post-apocalyptic tale with fine acting and comedy.
There's plenty of comedy, and the series has picked an excellent cast to tell this thrilling tale.
In this universe, the government erected big walls to close certain people out of the big cities, leaving everyone else to fight for what's outside.
It's a decent concept that seemingly translates very well to the screen.
Anthony Mackie plays John Doe on the series, a man well-known for finding things.
He's tasked with completing a missing for Neve Campbell's Raven, and his demands for payment aren't what you'd expect from someone battling for survival.
Along the way, he meets Stephanie Beatriz' Quiet, a lady who doesn't speak very much... until she's caught up in conflict.

The week beginning on March 20 is shaping up to be a make-or-break moment for TikTok‘s U.S. operations. As the app’s CEO prepares to speak before Congress, his company is sending a group of influencers to the nation’s capital, where they will lobby on TikTok’s behalf.
According to The Information, dozens of TikTok creators will have their travel expenses covered by the app. They will spend three days in Washington, where they will advocate for the platform that fuels their respective livelihoods. The specific influencers who will make the trip have not been officially announced, but the contingent is expected to host a press conference on March 22.
“Lawmakers in Washington debating TikTok should hear firsthand from people whose lives would be directly affected by their decisions,” said TikTok spokesperson Jamal Brown. “We look forward to welcoming our creators to our nation’s capital, helping them make their voices heard,...

Language can be intuitive, starting somewhere in your gut before transfiguring into speech. Effective communication, however, is more complex. Feelings sometimes encompass more than words can offer, making for crossed wires and missed connections. Kelela Mizanekristos, the R&b visionary who performs under the name Kelela, is aware of her gifts in this regard. Her excellent new album Raven, released last week, is a sprawling excavation of emotion. Her process, she says, relied on instinct. “I’d record the first take as I’m listening to the song for the first time,...
