During his fight scene with Kristian Vergamalis, Lachie Roberts would repeatedly shout "Hey Stoker! You're a bitch!". Roberts later walked away from the fight scene with more bruises and exhaustion than he was prepared for.
Midway through filming, lead actor Lachie Roberts dropped out of filming and left for America without any word to the filmmakers. He ignored all attempts at contact by the crew and threw the entire production in jeopardy. Upon returning he attempted to pretend like nothing had happened and was able to finish the film with the crew, but it left irreparable damage on his relationship with the director.
Whilst filming in the iconic picturesque Mornington Peninsula, police were called in by the public to find Decker's militia aiming and ready to shoot in what was obviously a movie scene. Director Harry Wall calmed the situation offering the unconvinced police locally cultivated calmative herbs, which were rudely refused by the shortly-thereafter retreating constabulary.
