Dark Money is a 4 part British mini-series. The series follows teenage actor Isaac (Max Fincham) whom has flown over to the United States to star in a big budget Hollywood science fiction movie called "Valiant and Son". However, upon returning to the UK and with production completed on the movie, Isaac has returned disturbed and Isaac claims that the movie's director Jotham Starr (John Schwab) sexually abused him and that Isaac recorded it on his mobile phone. As the film is set to premiere in London, Isaac's parents Manny (Babou Ceesay) and Sam (Jill Halfpenny) set out to confront Starr about his abuse of Issac. But, Starr believing Isaac's accusation will destroy his career and damage the movie's chances of becoming a worldwide blockbuster hit pays off Manny and Sam and demands they remain silent about the matter. But, the pay off shatters the family and Isaac succumbs to madness and despair as he feels Manny and Sam have failed him and Manny and Sam set out to bring Starr down and are determined to seek justice for what Starr did to Isaac.
