Close Your Eyes' character, Marvin, was originally named Victor in writer / producer Bryan Bachar's script. The name was changed to Marvin when actor Lorenzo "Hitman" Thornton told director Jeremy Guinn he felt more like a Marvin and Mr. Guinn then suggested the change to B, who thought it was a fair edit for the sake of bringing out the best in Lorenzo's performance.
Actors Carlos Azevedo and Lafayette Azevedo are indeed brothers. Outside of acting, they work together as skilled illustrators.
Close Your Eyes was originally meant to be directed by Bryan Bachar. He was unable to attend the shoot, however. So, regular one studios Director of Photography, Jeremy Guinn, took the reigns of director while B consulted over emails, texts and phone calls.
Lorenzo "Hitman" Thornton works as a comedian outside of his acting.
Although their characters don't share any screen time together, Lorenzo Thornton and Carlos Azevedo do have another project in common. They both have roles in the one studios feature film Fight 4 Your Life.
