Due to budget/time constraints, the crew had only two days to film, the second day taking place entirely at Spitting Caves in Hawai'i Kai. The shoot required a Sunrise shot, and a Sunset shot from the same locale, so from 5:30 am -5:30 pm the cast and crew spent the entire day there, needing perfect conditions for both shoots again given the budget and time constraints- coming back another day was not an option - pickups for that matter were not an option. Thankfully, the weather held up throughout the day, and they were able to get the key shots needed from dusk til' dawn. While filming, they witnessed sea turtles, monk seals, and a wedding proposal; a series of auspicious events.
