For a few seconds near the last 1/3 of the movie you can see a poster for a game called, Forsaken Castle, in a comic book shop. This is a game that got funded through Kickstarter that ended up never releasing.
Santa Jaws is the 4th and (as of 2025) final b-grade shark horror/comedy directed by Misty Talley. It was also teased in her previous movie, Mississippi River Sharks (2017).
