To quote Amy Jo Johnson from her Youtube account regarding this production:
"So, I made this silly little short with some friends a few years ago about a spoiled brat, aging actress, who's gone bankrupt and reluctantly has to turn to the comic con world to stay afloat. I had decided right after making this ridiculous first little teaser episode that the idea felt mean and I didn't want to put my efforts into creating a show that just wasn't very nice. So, I stopped pursuing this project. "
I think this speaks to her character as a person to consider other's sensitivities (and perhaps avoid putting herself in a position where people might think she THINKS like this character).
As a short, I think Amy embodies the caricature of someone who's overblown ego fairly well. The other characters whom appear in the short, whom she has spurned , are pretty fun and funny characters to watch as well.
Even though this didn't pan out as a series, it's still a fun quick watch!
