Filming took one year and the script was enhanced meanwhile the film was shot.
As when the film was shot, Mexican actor Xavier Loyá was the only living male actor from the Luis Buñuel's film The Exterminating Angel (1962), and in his monologue in the film, his character remembers and recoils the horrific events lived in the Buñuel's film.
