Yes, the acting is very meh.
Yes, there is a bit of religious meh involved.
But the 'Message' about legalized Opiod abuse is 'Very there' It is a powerful film about a small town facing an epidemic of legal drug abuse, & how the deal with it.
In my opinion the Big farma may ( tinfoil hat time ) negatively rate this low budget, throw away rental True(ish) story.

A lot of drinking in this movie. And a definite christian theme. I won't be recommending it to anyone.

This movie plot had great potential but suffered from a lack of action.
I ended up picking up my phone about an hour in and it just never really grabbed me.
Not the worst I've seen but I wouldn't reccomend.

Wow. I've never been so fooled by a high IMDB score. I should have read the reviews too. Every minute you spend watching this movie is a minute you'll wish you had back.
It starts out very slow - and never picks up. I kept waiting for something interesting to happen but it just plodded along. And in the few cases where something did happen - such as when a civilian set up a roadblock to stop cars and search them - I could not suspend my disbelief.
The writers managed to make every character into a shallow, boring caricature of a person. Even the lady who lost two sons to opiate overdoses was barely sympathetic and quickly became tiresome.
Giving it 2 stars to be generous.

It's badly acted, directed, everything Fenn seems to touch is god awful, as I expected. Lead character is the type of generic actor that had the looks, but just missed out on a role on the bold and the beautiful due to the Corona Virus shut down. The camera angles choices were often odd, and not in a good way, the storyline races thru certain important scenes, sits forever on other longer boring scenes, like at the bar, or chatting while fishing...it just never gets remotely interesting...sister dying of heroin, 2 scenes = 3min. Having a cigarette in he smoking area = 8 minutes and counting. Sorry i cant sum up the whole load of excrement, but I couldn't get thru it...avoid avoid and avoid.
I know it is quite a pity to call this movie dull and dreadful, because it is based on real stories and real people who lost a sister/brother/son/daughter due to drugs. Despite this fact, the acting was so poor and there was lack of action. Nothing meaningful happened in the entire movie. The actions were scattered here and there, there was no correlation between the characters, and everyone was dealing on their own ways. Very painful to watch, hopefully not too long. I think it would be better if this was a documentary. Maybe I would have enjoyed it more.

It was a good watch. This really hits home for those who have had friends or family that have succumb to this drug and others like it. The acting wasn't the best but the stories are real. Sadly, the drug epidemic continues and only deepens the further you dig. It's important that we teach our loved ones and close friends that there is a better way out than resorting to it as an escape. The question I got from watching this movie was, will you do anything about it?

Went in to this quite optimistic but as soon as I saw some of the old has beens from yesteryear and their poor acting I knew it was too good to be true. Poor old Sherilyn Fenn , I used to secretly fancy her when I was younger but sadly we all get old and our talents diminish and for her this is sadly true.
If you think this is going to be a revenge thriller akin to Death Wish vigilante style with plenty of action then forget it, this is one of those paramount wet sunday afternoon moralistic tedious goody two shoes movies for bored housewives and it will bore you to tears; that is if the dreadful acting and poor script does not finish you off first.

This film covers a very serious topic, and doesn't gloss over the harsh reality of the world of addiction. It offers a message of hope but no easy answers. Absolutely amazing ending and superb acting.

One of the most amateurish movies ever made. I can't believe all the fake reviewers. Don't waste your time.
Well, its another film about the shadowsides of america, and its hang to or more correctly spoken abuse of drugs and as in this story use and selling of heroin. a renegade group of relatives of dead addicts goes on a crusade in the neighbourhood to catch and kill the sources of this plague, the sellers and distributors and henchmen behind, in the name of love and humanity as a randomly blind instead of an eye for an eye.
the plot idea has potential, but the story are damaged by mediocre directing, acting and editing, the score is like a cat on hormones and when the climax are coming they jump of just as they where coming to the point of no return.
its like having a bad day in the bed thinks the grumpy old man. the visions are great but the outcome are invisible. is it allright to kill for a kill? its not a gloryhold of gold, its a no recommend

Making a movie that promotes lawlessness via amateur acting does no justice to a sensitive & complicated subject like opioid epidemic. The writer or director clearly have no idea about the issue and just looking for cheap publicity.

Every drug dealer as well as addicts need to see this. This movie is a definite eye opener from all points of view. One of my good friends overdosed on what he thought was heroin but turned out to be fentanyl. I really wish he could have saw this movie.
Board movie with a very bad cast & it's short with the Worst story I've ever watch it in my life.

What happened here? This movie promises a lot but that's about it! All about heroin? Didnt actually see a dealer, or a huge amount of addicts.. Considering this was supposedly based on a true story, they didn't actually clear up anything. Few signs etc but the film just meandered along - not really worth a look! This could have been a good film but isn't!

The synopsis sounded good, but a painfully slow burn with an anticlimactic ending just left me disappointed

Terrible acting, cliché story and a weird mix with religion and a justice by own hand theme.

This film starts of bad and only gets worse.
Terrible story, shoddy directing and actors who don't know how to act.
The final straw for me is the point where the vigilantes is marching against drugs with candles. That will help to stop all the OD's for sure. NOT!
It is the biggest load of drivel I have ever seen.
The writer deserves a d...ck.of the year award for writing this POS.
