Finally Bhalobasha

This is one of the finest anthology of love stories in Bengali and one of the finest stories of human relations . Ofcourse Anjan Dutta is a master of all that, but the magic that he creates here with Suprovat and Anirban, surpasses Brokeback Mountain in terms of Drama . Nothing to say about the beautiful music and unparallel lyrics . The culmination of the different plots is also consistent and satisfying . IMO, this is Anjan Datta's one of his finests.

It was a strange ride, intense from the beginning to the end.

Every story is so well directed, the background score, the cinematography, the beautiful songs, and the acting. Anirban Bhattacharya was outstanding as Joy, as usual. He's one of the finest actors we have. HIV positive was the best story, I'd say Arthritis is a close second. Insomnia failed to really move me like the other two did. A good one-time watch.

I am a fan of anjan dutt's work, so it doesn't matter how much his recent works are awful, I will watch it. Finally, found this movie online and watched it last night. First of all, definitely this movie is not his best work, like bow barracks forever or Ranjana, but this movie is his best work in last few years, I guess the last good movie he made was Dutta vs dutta. anyway, the movie has three different stories, where main characters are dealing with love from in different situations.

I just want to talk about the third story, "HIV POSITIVE." where anirban Bhattacharjee is protagonist and what a performance he showed!! the guy is a star! hats off honestly. Personally i believe he deserves a national award for that role. In the story, anirban lives in a hospice and most of the time he lies down in bed and a male nurse just takes cares of him whole time and somehow a friendly bond creates between them. This story made me emotional, i don't even remember when the last time any kolkata movie touched me that much and every dialogues anirban delivered were flawless and couldn't be better. People who wanna learn acting, definitely check it out this performance. Only for, "HIV POSITIVE" I would say watch this movie. After a long time, I felt like anjan dutt kinda proved how amazing director he was before and still he has a lot great movies to make. Happy watching!
