Nicole White was a young single mother, divorced, with a son. Taking the plunge again through the modern medium of computer dating, she soon found a new husband, and relocated with him from Washington State to Alaska, reluctantly leaving her son behind. By this time she had another son, and whether she was a poor judge of character or simply unlucky, she soon found herself dumped by her second husband.
Third time lucky? Back in Washington, she arranged a date with another stranger, and this time she didn't come home. Then her estranged husband was back on the scene, and, surprise, surprise, he had a bruised face. This was a missing person soon turned probable murder case, one with two strong suspects. It turned out the man who murdered her was her date. Jonathan Harris was eventually convicted only of second degree murder but was given a twenty-six year sentence.
This documentary includes contributions from, among others, her still grieving mother. The reconstructions are fairly routine with nothing too graphic.
