Ava Psoras, who plays Clara, is the real life daughter of Betsy Lynn George who plays Clara's mother, Emily.
Betsy Lynn George is best known for playing Devon in the David Fincher directed music video for Billy Idol's "Cradle of Love" in 1990.
"Occurrence at Mills Creek" marks Betsy Lynn George's return to acting after a nearly 18 year hiatus coinciding with the birth of her daughter, Ava Psoras, who plays daughter to Betsy's "Emily" in the film as "Clara".
Occurrence at Mills Creek won the Best Horror/SciFi Short Film award at the 2019 Queen City Film Festival in Cumberland, Maryland.
