My wife roped me into watching this one with her. It wasn't too bad. But if you've seen Footloose, you've seen this.
Amazing music. Surprisingly, the cinematography was beautiful and interesting. Unfortunately, the script and acting left way to much to be desired. All the character l development (if you'd call it that) relied on overused tropes and the dialogue... I've seen 10 year olds write more realistic conversations. Nevertheless, I watched the whole thing.

This movie is literally the country version of footloose. Instead of dancing being outlawed it's the rodeo.
Why would a rodeo go to a town that is against rodeos? Why would a town that is against rodeos have rodeo grounds? Where do you find a small western town full of damned liberals?
Like many movies it is formulaic and cute, in the Hallmark spectrum, but I'm ok with that. A lot of movies today are just way more unnecessarily explicit than they need to be. Having a bland bowl of porridge is nice from time to time.

I really thought this was going to be a lovely new love story, but nope. Its a rubbish storyline, with terrible acting. So gutted!!

Super cringey if you've ever been around rodeo. The sentiment is nice and they have a good story but it was cheesy beyond words. It's good to see the rodeo community voicing their position and getting a say on their portrayal. That being said, could've been better executed.

Footloose knock off. I'm surprised the writers of Footloose have not legally gone after the makers of this film for copyright infringement. Horribly shameful.

I thought the acting was pretty good and the storyline was cute. To boot, it gave us, the public, education on how the rodeos really do treat their animals, which is something I learned as well. All in all, it was a movie worth watching on Netflix while being sick with COVID. I'm a sap for romantic movies anyway!

A little slow but nice knowing the 2 leads fell in love on the set, married and now have a daughter and did 2 xmas films together. The passion they show in their 2 xmas films is real. You can tell they are soul mates. I wish them well.

Why did I watch this? I already hate 'romantic (comedy)' films. This one makes me even more cringe than the few I already know. The animals were playing their role great though.

A very predictible sweet little movie. It has the pace of a Christian movie.
Love how they show rodeos in a good light and how well the animals are treated.
Also Hank is the best character and acts like all the cowboys I know!

Definitely one of the cheesiest movies I have seen. It has a good ole plot line that every other chick flick has and you could easily guess what was going to happen everything that would happen, but it is a good laugh.
But man, it could have been so much better!
I was all for a cowboy romance, but this was literally a G rated wannabe :(
I was dissatisfied and a little disappointed after being quite excited.
It was an easy watch with likeable characters, cute cowboys and cows... and I'm glad I've seen it because I really wanted to, but I won't be watching it again.

I've been on a Netflix kick stuck at home and after watching so many great movies on there I have to say I am extremely disappointed in this film. This film was like watching a bad hallmark movie. Everything was hollow, the performances, the story, just all below part. A film like this should have a strong emotional foundation to it, but it didn't. I kept wanting to turn it off, but I kept it on in hopes of it getting better, but I was wrong.
Don't waist your time.

First let's start off with pointing out this is a rated PG film so obviously it's made for families and most likely a younger demographic. It reminds me of the simple movies of yester year where there are no planet threatening robots destroying every building in site. It's a simple throwback love story where the two leads chemistry is obviously real as I read they married in real life. Sweat, enjoyable and perfect for the current times in which we find ourselves in constant chaos.

I sat through the first half hour in the hope that it would pick up. But no. I very rarely stop part way into a movie.

Horrendous. Villainizes vegetarians and the whole thing is an advert for rodeos. Attempting to convince you they arent cruel. Makes a mockery of animal rights activists.
Apart from that, there's a bit of terrible acting and a painfully boring love story on the side.

I normally love cheesy rom coms, but this was so clearly anti vegetarian and pro animal abuse I couldn't even finish it. Very much the red blooded republicans version of the Lorax.
