In a second almost all people drop dead. But when the tanks go down the freeway, there are no cars on the road.

When the protagonists form a column of 2 BTR 80 armored personnel carriers and reach the city, in the following scenes they are much more modern BRT 82A. When they reach the skyscraper, both armored vehicles are again BTR 80, armed with the machine gun cupola instead of the remotely operated auto cannon.

when the helicopter 'Dagger Four' is approaching Outpost 8 in Kirov, its armed with weapons from both Russian and American Systems. the Missiles on the right wing and the 2 outside pylons are American AIM-9 Sidewinders. but the rocket pods on the inside pylons are Russian S-8 Rocket Pods.

While architectural and fashion styles, interior decorations, and overall look shown in the film are slick, futuristic, and very modern, the interior of delta-winged passenger plane looks very frumpy and very much from 1970s (no seatback "Information, Communication, Entertainment" screens, for instance).
