After arriving late to work, Toni is called into the boss's office where she is unwillingly given a new challenging assignment of reporting unsolved murder cases. With no specific case given to her, Toni decides to look up her first live on-air report which is a very familiar case. Meanwhile Anthony checks in for his first day in support group realizing he has a long journey ahead and Detectives Zemeckis and Lopez returns but get a little more than they bargain for with their new suspect in custody.

Toni takes the first steps in her new assignment as she tracks down the only witness from the Kristen Rowe murder case, "Darnell Williams." Meanwhile father of Kristen, Greg Rowe, breaks down as he blames himself for what happen that night of his daughter disappearance.

Anthony's past pays him an unwanted visit which later causes trouble between him and Toni. Meanwhile Shawn finds out his baby mother is dating again which brings up some puerile concerns from him.

Toni is filled with joy as she finally gets the call she has been waiting for. Detective Lopez gets introduce to his young fling Tammy's new awful habit. Meanwhile, Shawn attempts to sneak a phone call to Raven to inquire the in and outs of her date last night.

Darnell's latest session brings a new light on a possible suspect. Meanwhile, Toni's emotional reflections brings her to make an erratic move and Anthony meets a new friend in support group.

Anthony takes the first step in rectifying things with Toni while Shawn refuses to let anyone get in his way of his journey back to Raven. Meanwhile, Zemeckis demands answers from Tammy on her recent behavior.

Raven gets an unwanted guest at her door that leaves her in a dangerous situation while Toni's work gets up close and personal with her personal life and Greg begins to break down as he pays his first visit to Dr. Venosta

Detective Zemeckis and Lopez begin their investigation as they question those close to Raven. Meanwhile, things get uneasy between Greg and Tracy as they reflect on their past.
