Only attraction is national award winner girish kulkarni who perfectly fts in any role given to him effortlessly but supporting cast is in experienced and director also simply don't watch and waste your time

I can only guess certain things, so let's start with simple things. This has a certain serious agenda at heart. One that is more than well meaning, one that actually matters. It is about women, their status (not just in relationships), but in society in India. But while that all is good and nice, it is also filled with quite some cliches. And here is the guessing: Since it has such a powerful woman front and center, it may have led to the makers to have to sacrifice on other fronts.

Another woman who is the second female lead is very ... well describing her performance/character over the top would be an understatement. Having said that, the ending may be controversial but I personally liked it. It dared something ... even if it felt weird. It felt empowering to a degree - though as I said I can understand if some feel it is the complete opposite. Good intentions but quite flawed overall in many respects

All the stars are for acting. Most illogical ending to a drama which showed a lot of promise. Watch but ignore the ending.

For a movie dedicated to rape survivors, Priyanka Chopra has produced a movie that not only oversimplifies the aftermath but also completely jumps logic at its end. Rape doesn't just result in a conscious choice to focus on the past vs present. One can't simply "let it go." What's odd is the main actress acknowledges nightmares, invasive memories, traumatized sex with her husband, emotional tension being held in her neck and back, and she suffers with these for years and years. Even after seeing a therapist she struggles with the exercises and sporadic crying. Her choice to let it go or not is not all that is at play.

Trauma from rape results in very real, very physical changes to the brain and how the body's set points work-forever. Well after anyone decides to focus on the present, she'll be plagued with invasive thoughts and nightmares. Well after the choice, sex will still suffer from an occasional invasive memory. This actress definitely didn't commit adultery and suddenly cure herself. She's not "good to go" once she changes her perspective.

As someone fighting for women's rights and struggles, Priyanka Chopra's production company owes it to those women to at the very least accurately represent what they suffer through and what the road to recovery looks like. For real rape survivors out there who "let it go," live in the present, and yet continue to be plagued please know there are smarter women in this world supporting you with realistic expectations for your recovery and life going forward.

As for the rest of the movie, some interesting topics came up, but the characters were never developed enough for them to make a difference. There were at least eight themes or heavy topics, and not a single one was developed or explored to satisfaction.

This movie is a story of Rape survivor and now a successful divorse lawyer portreyed by National award winning actress Usha jadhav who is constantly keeping herself busy in representing female population in the court of law. She is married to her close friend from college who is a very well match for her battered soul, portrayed by Girish Kulkarni. She takes on a high profile case where the petitioner is not completely innocent and wants to get divorse just for the sake of revenge. The storyline progresses with Protagonists own internal turmoil which take toll on her perfect relationship with her husband.

The story is full of psychological nuances of human character and it tell so many things. Story is well written just that a bit dramatic ending could have been avoided. Also did not undersrand the stressed pronounceation of Marathi words by Usha jadhav.

I liked the movie. It is very different and questions a lot of societal norms for men and women equally. The characters have humane quality and the movie is packed with good messages that so many movies lack.

When the production house that gave out a brilliant film like Ventilator, one is expected to to wait for another stellar piece of work. Firebrand is a horrible, cinematically disastrous and storywise a hollow film. Monotonous court proceedings with antimen agenda and with undertones of a traumatic past experience this movie hardly touches any topic. The psychiatry session is laughworthy and amateur as hell. Sex scenes are cringe. Expected better from Netflix.

Brilliant film. Loved every part of it. Very impressive work by Usha Jadhav specially. :)

Good movie with deep meaning. I'll recommend to watch.

As per my opinion this will represent current status of Indian life . To share the opinions frankly Where the doctor is not solving the trauma problem can be solved by counseling. Here the director has taken extra step to show at the end is little bit by extra marital activity . I think that it's his opinion to conclude to end solution Any how worth watch movie

Disclaimer: Do not watch this film if you are expecting a cheap masala marathi film, with a few item songs to tap your feet.

This movie unfolds with some real time problems of the society, elaborates the fabrics of relations and not the least sets a new perspective towards the series of events occurring in the film.

Thanks to the film making team for not spoon feeding each shot and leaving the end for the viewers to unfold for themselves. Rarely do we experience such ideas in Marathi Cinema.

This has been a great blend of good acting, great direction and a superb script.
