This movie is light and super entertaining.. it is something that u can relate for indonesian on daily basis.. super love the movie
Isn't just show us some story about relationship or unpredictable conspiracy, but important thing is foos philosophy
Fresh stories, compared to typical Indonesian drama films. There is no technical or new way of presenting stories, but the audience seems to be led to their daily lives. Plot development changes from light to overlapping and quite complex, not boring in each round. Of couse, it makes you hungry! :)
Aruna dan Lidahnya is a delightful cinematic journey that explores the rich culinary landscape of Indonesia through the eyes of its protagonist, Aruna. Directed by Edwin, the film is a perfect blend of romance, food, and travel, offering a sensory experience that is both visually and emotionally satisfying. The narrative follows Aruna, a passionate food enthusiast, as she embarks on a work-related trip across Indonesia, where she indulges in her love for food while also reconnecting with old friends and navigating the complexities of her personal life. The film's strength lies in its vibrant portrayal of Indonesian cuisine, with beautifully shot scenes of local dishes that are sure to make any viewer's mouth water. Beyond the food, the film also delves into themes of love, friendship, and self-discovery, making it a well-rounded and enjoyable watch.
This movie is entertaining and has a strong sense of Indonesian Culinary. Edwin hit the benchmark of how Indonesian culinary should be showed and visualised. Great actors, great story!
