Four short films were made at different periods of time. They were all combined into this movie.
The six main characters each have an arch rival. Mark's arch rival is Trent, Pierce's is Earl, Mom's is Agent Jacobs, Phil's is the assassin, and Keith and Chad, despite their friendship, antagonize each other equally, making them equal rivals.
Most of the cast and crew are family members, hence the overall storyline and title: "A Family of Killers."
The character Mom (Pam Kvale) appears in every single chapter, unlike every other character, giving her the top spot on the cast list.
