At the time of making this documentary both the director and producer were employed in Mainland China. Simon Yam was approached to take part and declined, much to the frustration of the filmmakers. Herman Yau was unresponsive and Amy Yip could not be found.
it's interesting to learn in this documentary that Bily Tang's Cat 3 'rape drama' RED TO KILL about a serial rapist who is driven to rape by the color red, is actually a political metaphor for what China intends to do to Hong Kong.
